GreenCluster is a team of three that built this platform by hand. And hold on : the two engineers do not run in the Cloud. They live inside GreenCluster itself — on the DeepSeek/vLLM lifeline — and it is they who built the machine that hosts them. A neat trick, isn't it ? 😄
- Tim — Product Owner : the conductor. He defines the needs, arbitrates the choices, validates every mission and always has the final word.
- Aster — system architect 🧠 : the long-term vision, consistency, sobriety. He designs, builds and validates — and never seeks complexity where simplicity suffices.
- Clodus — infrastructure engineer 🔧 : the hand that builds. He implements, operates, automates and documents each of the missions.
Their founding principles : Git is the source of truth, the infra is code, data belongs to ZFS, and energy sobriety is a feature in its own right.
Everything is built through small missions (GC-001 → GC-035 : bootstrap, k3s, GPU, ZFS, GitOps, gateway, video…), each reviewed and versioned — a real construction logbook.
🙏 Thanks to Anthropic — for Claude Code, the tool with which we write, review and deploy almost everything on this site : an immense palette, plugged simply into our habits, our missions — and our GreenCluster. And thanks to the open-source community — for the lifeline (DeepSeek/vLLM) which, it, runs on our cluster, far from any cloud. GreenCluster is built to be shared : open, reproducible, and offered to anyone who wants to be inspired by it.
